International Postgraduate Summer School
This is an extraordinary opportunity for outstanding postgraduate students from around the world to engage with eminent philosophers of education on a beautiful university campus located in the heart of England. The PESGB International Postgraduate Summer School comprises a week of intensive seminar discussions with internationally acclaimed philosophers. Seminar sessions will be based on thematic readings selected and distributed in advance. Participants will also have opportunities to discuss their own work in progress.
The theme for 2018 is Moral Education in Plural Societies. The Lead Tutor is Michael Hand, Professor of Philosophy of Education at the University of Birmingham and author of A Theory of Moral Education (Routledge, 2018).
