Emerald Henderson is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Humanistic Studies, Utrecht. She has research interests in the philosophy and psychology of emulation and in the acquisition and practice of phronesis. She recently completed her PhD here at the University of Birmingham, under the supervision of Kristján Kristjánsson and Laura D’Olimpio. Her thesis is entitled ‘A neo-Aristotelian theory of emulation: implications for cultivating teacher character through role modelling’.
