Laura Dyer is a lecturer in English for Academic Purposes at the University of Leeds. She holds a Master’s in TESOL and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority. Her interests lie in student engagement, humanistic approaches to teaching and learning and creative pedagogies. She is currently writing her first monograph entitled A Humanistic Approach to English for Academic Purposes Pedagogy: People, Place, Compassion, Power to be published by Palgrave MacMillan.
