Francesca Marcone is Research Fellow in General and Social Pedagogy at the University of Genoa. She has research interests in the theoretical foundations of General Pedagogy, in the concept of Bildung, and in the pedagogy of music. She is the author of An Essay on Harmony: Between Music, Literature, and Human Development(Anicia, 2022) and Bach: Pedagogy of Music Education (Il Melangolo, 2024).
