The NAAPE Executive Committee would like to remind you to register for the upcoming conference, which takes place from October 17th to October 19th, 2025.

As always, NAAPE 2025 will be held at the beautiful University of St. Mary of the Lake, just outside of Chicago.

September 19th is the last day for early bird registration! After this date, registration fees will be raised. 

If you are a graduate student or early career researcher, we encourage you to sign up for our Friday pre-conference panels which will cover academic publishing and the job market. The $20 registration cost for the pre-conference includes a hot buffet lunch in the dining hall on Friday.

NAAPE 2025 features an impressive slate of keynotes including: Catherine Z. Elgin (Harvard University) and C. Thi Nguyen (University of Utah) with responses from Rebecca Taylor (University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign) and Kathryn E. Joyce (The Ohio State University), respectively.

The general paper pool was extremely competitive this year, and we look forward to sharing a provisional program very soon.

The absolute latest date for registration is October 8th, after which we cannot guarantee lodging or dining at NAAPE 2025. (Refunds will be granted in full, minus a $25 processing fee, up to 21 days prior to the conference. After this date, refunds cannot be guaranteed.)
