Mapping a Philosophical Basis of Initial Teacher Education in Scotland

The aim of this event is to generate discussion and develop ideas around a philosophy of initial teacher education (ITE). As such, anyone interested or involved in ITE is welcome to attend, including ITE lecturers, teachers, ITE students, researchers, local authority representatives, etc. The event is one of a series mapping philosophies of teacher education across the four nations and Ireland, with events also taking place in Wales, Ireland and England over the coming months.

These events are funded by the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain (PESGB) and there are a limited number of travel bursaries available.
