Janet Orchard is Associate Professor in Philosophy and Religion in Teacher Education at the University of Bristol. She has research interests in teacher education, ethical deliberation in teaching, religious education and values education. She is co-author (with Christopher Winch) of What Training Do Teachers Need? Why Theory Is Necessary To Good Teaching (Wiley, 2015).
