Education For All: The Legacy of Professor Richard Pring

You are warmly invited to a memorial symposium to celebrate the life and scholarship of Professor Richard Pring.

The programme for the day will include the opportunity to explore the ongoing scholarly legacy of Professor Richard Pring’s work, and also to share memories of Professor Pring’s life and career.

Programme:

  • 9.30am       Welcome coffee/tea (Pring’s Café)
  • 10.00am  Symposium 1: Knowledge, curriculum and vocational preparation (Seminar Room A) – speakers: Michael Hand, Geoff Hayward, Ewart Keep, Clare Buntic
  • 11.30am      Coffee/tea (Pring’s Café)
  • 12.00pm  Symposium 2: The nature and aims educational research (Seminar Room A) – speakers: Andrea English, Chris Winch, Alis Oancea, Farid Panjwani
  • 1.30pm       Lunch followed by brief contributions and an informal celebration (Pring’s Café)
