Applications are welcomed from PESGB members of all career stages to participate in a Writing Retreat at Gregynog Hall from Monday 24th to Wednesday 26th July 2023. The event will start on the Monday evening and end late morning on the Wednesday.
Your application should indicate what the retreat will help you to achieve in terms of academic writing.
Deadline for applications: Extended to Friday 12 May
Costs of accommodation and meals will be covered but participants will need to pay for their own travel.
The programme will consist of a combination of independent study time and optional group discussions.
Applicants must have been a member of PESGB for at least one year at the time of the Writing Retreat.
If you are attending the Birmingham Writing Retreat please do not apply so that priority can be given to others.
Gregynog Hall is an 800 year old house in mid-Wales with Grade 1 listed gardens and a rich artistic history. PESGB has held annual events here for many years. You can read more about the venue here. Gregynog is a 20 minute drive/taxi ride from Newtown, which is served by direct trains from Birmingham, Shrewsbury, and Aberystwyth.
