Strathclyde Branch Symposium 3

What’s the ‘use’ in Higher Education? Symposium 3 – Future

You are cordially invited to attend the final symposium in this series looking at evolving notions of use in Higher Education. This event focuses on the future, asking questions such as:

  • How might emerging technologies change how we view what is useful and what is obsolete?
  • What will be the study trends of the future as students seek to optimise the ‘usefulness’ of their qualifications?
  • Should universities be taking steps to enshrine their status as a public good?

The event will take place from 10am – 5pm both in person (at the Nelson Mandela Auditorium, University of Strathclyde) and online. Anyone with an interest in HE (students of any level, staff from any level and job family) is welcome to attend. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for in person attendees.

A programme schedule and registration link are available at: What’s the ‘Use’ in Higher Education – Symposium 3 – Future – Advanced Pedagogical Theory

Registration will close on Friday 27 February at 12 noon. If you have previously registered, there is no need to do so again.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch by email to n.robertson@strath.ac.uk.
