
Andrew Edgar is Emeritus Reader, School of English, Communication and Philosophy, Cardiff University. At Cardiff he taught philosophy, and published widely on contemporary German philosophy (including the work of Jürgen Habermas and T.W. Adorno), the philosophy of medicine, political philosophy, and the philosophy of sport and art (his monograph, Sport and Art: An Essay in the Hermeneutics of Sport, was published in 2016). Since retirement he has moved back to Sussex, having written his doctorate, on Adorno, at Sussex University in the 1980s.
