David Aldridge is Professor of Education and Philosophy and Head of Department of Secondary and Further Education at Edge Hill University, UK. He is co-editor of the British Educational Research Journal and assistant editor of the Journal of Philosophy of Education. He also co-edits the Routledge Literature and Education Book Series. He is the author of A Hermeneutics of Religious Education (Bloomsbury) and How Ought War to be Remembered in Schools (Wiley).
