Haoyu Jin

I am a first-year PhD researcher at Moray House School of Education and Sport, University of Edinburgh. My research explores the creative and educational possibilities of conflicts and paradoxes in education – especially difficult teacher-student encounters. I am particularly interested in the educational theory of Gert Biesta and the psychological theory of Carl Rogers. I focus on concepts such as teaching, interpersonal relationship, subjectification, and studenting.
