PESGB has recognised that all academics, including early career academics, independent researchers and PhD students with little or no research hours on their workloads, are short of time to initiate, consolidate or complete research projects. It is offering funds for another Writing Retreat from May 30 – June 1 2023, for a small group of people, to help them work on projects in a congenial and scholarly atmosphere with like-minded colleagues. If you have very little research time, family commitments, and much teaching, marking and managing, it may be difficult to get any research done. In that case, this retreat is for you and it is open to all members of PESGB.

The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 17 March.  Applicants will be informed of the outcome by Friday 5 May.
